More than 23,700 children in Ohio are in the foster care system each year. Many young people in foster care have experienced traumatic events in their lives, due to exposure to psychological or physical abuse, neglect, and dislocation. It is important for people working in youth-serving systems to understand young people’s responses to trauma in order to promote healing and emotional security.

At House of New Hope, we don’t just talk about making an impact… WE MAKE AN IMPACT!

We use our technology, resources and talent to provide trauma-informed and evidence-based case therapeutic management and behavioral health treatment in order to promote healing and long-term adjustment, directly touching the lives of over 400 foster children and youth each year.

Our employees have shared values, make positive social changes, and increase opportunities for disadvantaged populations through the provision of treatment foster care, adoption, behavioral health and developmental disability services to the young and the elderly.
