House of New Hope has been a God-send to both my daughter Rachel (client) and I. Rachel needed Homemaker and Personal Care (HPC) Services during a difficult time of grief due to the passing of her step-dad. To our surprise, House of New Hope was willing to provide Developmental disability Waiver services by hiring me, her devoted mother, which also allowed me to stay at home and take care of her HPC needs. The blessings continued as House of New Hope helped me to become a transporter for Rachel to and from her Day Services. Furthermore, House of New Hope’s director, Glenn McCleese, helped advocate additional services that Rachel needed earlier in 2014.
Each of the staff I have encountered through House of New Hope has been courteous, vigilant with deadlines for re-certification and notifying me when there have been updates for training. I find their accountant astute in finding errors in my paperwork, which most times have been to my advantage rather than adversely. Incidentally, my paychecks have always been on time and sometimes earlier than scheduled.
I highly recommend House of New Hope for helping both the client and family members with services they are able to provide. I want to emphasize how they have been a significant part of my daughter’s happiness as well as meeting her HPC needs.
