Mirella and her friend and fellow Girl Scout, Casey Day, came to the House of New Hope and found out that they were in need of teen items for the Foster children. They put flyers together and posted them around the community, put information in the local papers and radio station. Then they collected items at Southgate Church in Heath and held two drives in Utica to gather items. The girls were able to collect clothes, books, personal items, book bags, suitcases, and gift cards.
All of us at House of New Hope thank Mirella and Casey for their extraordinary effort!
