About Us

Our Mission:

We are blessed. God has blessed us with the most caring and well-trained foster and respite families, the most competent and committed staff, and a very supportive and giving community. Established in 1992, our mission reflects the dreams and Judeo-Christian values of our founders, Pastor J. Edward and Shirley Sharp.

"The mission of House of New Hope is to transform the lives of vulnerable children in need of safe and nurturing families, by providing treatment-oriented, culturally sensitive and cost effective community-based services."

House of New Hope is a private, non-for-profit, 501(c)3, charitable faith-based organization, licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and a contract agency of Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services, Delaware County Children Services, Franklin County Children Services, Knox County Children Services, Tuscarawas County Children Services, Medina County Job and Family Services, Marion County Children Services, Hocking County Children Services, Summit County Children Services, and Huron County Children Services.
