ABOUT US

OUR HISTORY...

Founded by Pastor Ed and Shirley Sharp in 1992 as a Christian 501(c)3 non-profit organization, House of New Hope has grown into a statewide organization of highly qualified human services providers offering an array of quality, community-based services: from our disability programs for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities; trauma informed treatment foster care for high risk and vulnerable youth with emotional, behavioral and educationally complex challenges; specialty out-patient mental health services for dually diagnosed developmentally disabled and mentally disturbed adults; to adoption and home study services that successfully unites a child with a waiting family.

WE BELIEVE...

As a Christian agency, we work hard to better ourselves and our community through social services that value compassion, community, hope, self-reliance, and self-determination.

OUR VISION...

"Our vision is a community where children, adults and families have the support necessary to lead safe and meaningful lives."

OUR MISSION...

“It is our mission to optimize the potential of children and adults by providing compassionate healing environments and individualized, community-integrated services."

OUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES...
